Reimagining Reproductive Health: Pathways Towards Reproductive Justice

This introductory workshop presents the historical development and how to implement the Reproductive Justice Framework in healthcare service delivery. Reproductive Justice expands on reproductive rights and health frameworks by placing them within an expansive social justice lens that includes historically marginalized people and issues. Within the healthcare context, it is vital for medical providers to understand reproductive rights and choice as well as how the reproductive justice framework allows additional insight into how to change healthcare to improve health equity. This workshop is interactive and includes skill-building sections in the form of standardized patient interactions.
